(TCDD) ANKARA – ISTANBUL HIGH-SPEED TRAIN
Turkish State Railways (TCDD) ANKARA ISTANBUL HIGH SPEED TRAIN 2ND STAGE PART 1
As part of the scope of High-Speed Train Project, which will reduce the travelling time between Ankara and İzmir from three hours to ten minutes, the construction of the line (Part-1) between Köseköy and Vezirhan with a length of 103 km, has been completed by a consortium of which IC İçtaş was a part.
Due to the geographical features of the region, there are many tunnels, viaducts, bridges, overcrossing, and undercrossing as part of the project scope. Additionally, one of the most distinct Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) in the world has been used in 2011 in this project.
