İbrahim Çeçen

IC Yatırım Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors and the founder of IC Foundation Mr İbrahim ÇEÇEN was born in Ağrı in 1941 and, after completing his elementary and secondary education in Ağrı, graduated from the Construction Engineering department of Cumhuriyet University.

He started his career in 1964 and founded İÇTAŞ in 1969. He still actively works as the Chairman of IC Holding Board of Directors which governs over thirty companies in the industries of construction, energy, tourism, industry, air and sea port operation. He has provided gratuitous scholarships since 1984. He founded IC İbrahim Çeçen Foundation in 2004 in order to continue his services in education under a corporate structure.

İbrahim Çeçen was awarded “Reward of Exceptional Service to the Government” on 5 April 2007 by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Presidency Council for his contributions in the fields of education, health, sports, culture and arts and received an honorary doctorate diploma from Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University personally from the President. He is married and a father of four.
