3RD BOSPHORUS BRIDGE

3RD   Bosphorus Bridge and Northern Marmara Highway Project that will be executed as part of ‘Build-Operate-Transfer’ Model, has been awarded to ‘IC İçtaş Construction Industry ve Ticaret’ and ‘Astaldi S.P.A.’ partnership as a result of tender process held in 2012,  for 10 years 2 months 20 days Investment+Operating period and the bridge was founded on the 29th of May, 2013 with a ceremony. As part of the project scope, there are highways and access roads, viaducts, highway bridges, tunnels, and 3rd Bosphorus Bridge with a length of 115 km. 3rd Bosphorus Bridge which will be constructed as part of the project scope, breaks grounds with many of its features. When the bridge is completed, it will be the widest suspension bridge of the world with a width of 59 meters, the longest suspension bridge of the world with its length of 1.408 meters having a rail system, and the world’s suspension bridge with the highest tower with a height of 322 meters.
