IC İçtaş İnşaat General Manager İbrahim Dönmez stated, “We are exporting our extensive experience and expertise in airport construction and operations to the international stage. We will complete the project within 24 months and put it into service. As a Turkish company, participating in this project is of great importance in terms of once again demonstrating our capabilities on the international stage,” he said.

IC İçtaş İnşaat and its partner, Al Rashid Trading & Contracting Company (RTCC), have won the new engineering and construction tender for King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. As part of the project, IC İçtaş İnşaat will undertake the reconstruction of Terminals 1 and 2, as well as the connecting terminals. IC İçtaş İnşaat, together with its partner RTCC, had also completed the engineering and construction work for Terminals 3 and 4 of the same airport last year.

IC İçtaş İnşaat General Manager İbrahim Dönmez stated that they continue to export their experience in airport construction and their qualified engineering capabilities abroad. Dönmez emphasized that the renovation work at King Khalid International Airport is a key component of the 2030 Vision outlined by Saudi Arabia’s Second Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

İbrahim Dönmez continued: “The 2030 Vision forms the cornerstone of economic transformation in Saudi Arabia. King Khalid International Airport is a key component of this plan. We are delighted to be part of this transformation alongside our partner. We are modernizing the operational approach of the airport, which began service 40 years ago, to align with a more contemporary business model. We will complete the project within 24 months. The most valuable factors driving us toward this success are our excellence in engineering and operational experience and capabilities, along with our goal of exceeding standards in everything we do. Leveraging our expertise in airport construction and operations, we aim to grow by undertaking new projects in the short and medium term. “This project is of great importance as it once again showcases our capabilities on the international stage.”
