Riyadh King Khalid Airport, renovated through projects carried out by IC İçtaş Construction, was named the third-best airport in the world in the AirHelp Score 2025 Report. The solutions developed by IC İçtaş İnşaat’s Turkish engineers to enhance the passenger experience played a decisive role in the airport’s inclusion on this list for the first time in its history.

IC İçtaş İnşaat, which ranks among the global representatives of Turkish engineering thanks to its successful projects in various regions, has achieved yet another significant milestone. King Khalid International Airport, located in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, where IC İçtaş Construction carried out engineering and construction work, secured a spot among the world’s best airports in the AirHelp Score 2025 report, earning a score of 8.47 out of 10 for passenger experience among more than 200 airports.

Solutions developed by IC İçtaş İnşaat’s Turkish engineers played a key role in King Khalid International Airport’s ranking among the world’s top three in passenger experience. Efforts focused on infrastructure modernization, expanding service offerings, and improving the passenger experience were the key factors that enabled the airport to achieve this milestone for the first time in its history.

When King Khalid International Airport begins full-scale operations, it will serve a total of 14 million passengers annually across a 170,000-square-meter area. The company, which focuses on large-scale projects requiring high technology and advanced engineering, aims to further enhance the global success of Turkish engineering.

Thousands of records were evaluated in the report

The AirHelp Score, published annually by AirHelp since 2015, evaluates airports based on criteria such as on-time departure performance, service quality, and passenger feedback. The report analyzes millions of flight records and passenger reviews. This year’s survey included approximately 13,500 passengers from 58 countries whose airport visits took place between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025.
